Footwear:

We must insist that all students come prepared to dance, with the correct footwear for their class.  Shoes must have the proper ties, elastics, etc. If you are unsure about which footwear your dancer needs, please speak to Angie or Shelly. 

All students must have proper dance no later than the 3rd week of class.  Hip Hop shoes can be purchased through the studio.  All other shoes can be purchased at:

Dress

All students must be in some form of dance apparel.  This includes leotards, tights, bicycle pants, and bicycle shorts.  Proper attire allows the student to move freely and the instructor to see the position of the body. Wearing improper clothing can also pose a safety risk.

Street clothes such as jeans, sweatshirts, bulky, baggy, or loose clothing are not proper attire for dance class.

Performance team students must wear their designated apparel or they will not be allowed to participate in class.

Hair

All students must have their hair up and pulled away from their face for every class.  For students whose hair is long enough, their hair should be in a bun.

Jewelry

Dangling jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, piercings, and earrings, are not permitted to be worn during class or recital.  Again, this is for the safety of the students.
