CAD Policies

Policies and information:

• Students' registration forms and waivers must be filled out/signed by parents/guardians and returned to the studio by the start of the 2nd week of classes.

•  No street clothing is allowed to be worn in classes. Dressing like a dancer has a profound impact on how students feel about themselves. Street clothes are never appropriate. Hair must always be securely pulled away from the face for all ages. ​

• Please have your student in attire that cover private body parts. 

• We insist that you come to every class prepared. ALL PROPS and proper dance shoes are part of this. You cannot train properly if you are not prepared for class. 

• Please be reminded that we are in a shared space, we must be courteous of each other. This includes not coming in when your dancer is ill, good handwashing habits, cleaning up after ourselves, and good hygiene. 

• No dangling jewelry for safety. Body piercings must be covered. 

• No gum, candy, drinks, cell phones, or street shoes are allowed in the classrooms.​

• Only instructors, student-teachers, and dancers should be in the classrooms during classes.  To prevent distraction, no parents, guardians, or other spectators are allowed to watch classes.​

• Attendance is extremely important.  If a student cannot attend class due to illness or another reason, let the studio know. 

• Please drop off students prepared and ready to dance on time for their classes and promptly pick them up at the end of their classes. 

• If you are the last class of the evening and your student is not picked up on time, you will be charged $25 for every 10 minutes you are late. 

• There are no refunds given, no exceptions. 

• No checks or credit/debit cards accepted.  All payments are to be paid in cash. 

• Never have, never will, we DO NOT charge a registration fee!

• Classes MUST BE paid weekly or monthly. If you pay monthly, classes MUST BE PAID by the 1st class of every month. 

• Pay for the year and receive a 10% discount. To receive the discount classes must be paid for in full, for the full year by the students SECOND class. After this date, the discount will not be applied. 

• We also offer family discounts.

• Classes must be paid for whether students are absent or not. In the event that classes are canceled because of weather, classes still must be paid. ​

• You will be notified via text message about any cancelations.

• No students will be allowed into class with a balance. 

• Our yearly dress rehearsal and production are held in June. Students are required to attend these events. 

• Act kindly and respect others. No bullying in any way will be tolerated. 

• Swearing and hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated in any sense. 

• No disrespectful or bad behavior towards our staff and fellow dancers will be tolerated. You will be asked to leave.

• You are responsible for feeding your own students. 

• Anyone who eats at the studio is required to clean up after themselves. If they do not follow these rules and clean up their messes, this will result in us asking them to no longer eat while they are here. 

• No one will be able to leave the studio without a parent or guardian unless written permission is given, at which point the studio, and their staff are no longer responsible for your child. 

• Not following the studio's policies will result in permanent removal from the studio.
